Christian Pulisic has a new second home in AC Milan.
The USMNT winger had a medical examination Wednesday with the Italian side and soccer reporter Fabrizio Romano said he signed a four-year contract with The Rossoneri.
Pulisic was seen signing autographs for fans outside the Mondo Milan team museum after he reportedly inked the new deal with the seven-time European champion whose roster includes former Chelsea teammates Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Olivier Giroud, France's all-time leading goal scorer. Soccer icon Zlatan Ibrahimović, who won two Scudettos with the team, announced his retirement last month at AC Milan's season finale.
“I’m very happy to be here. I’m excited. I’m excited to start with this historic club,” Pulisic told reporters at Milan’s Malpensa airport. “It’s legendary and I’m really excited to come here and try to win some titles here.”
This will serve as a fresh start for the 24 year old, who has played with Chelsea in the Premier League since 2019 when he signed a $74.8 million (£57.6 million) deal. The Hersey, Pennsylvania, native failed to find his footing with Chelsea, making 145 appearances and scoring 26 goals, primarily from a reserve role. He won the 2021 UEFA Champions League with the team.

Pulisic started his international career in Germany with Borussia Dortmund, where he joined the U17 team and climbed the ranks to make his debut on the big stage in 2016 at the age of 17. At the time, he was the third youngest player in club history to be called up to the first team.
Pulisic was a part of the USMNT's World Cup run last year when they went to the Round of 16. He was injured in the group stage when he suffered a pelvic contusion, but returned for the knockout game. He had an assist to Haji Wright for America's lone goal in the 3-1 loss to the Netherlands.
Last month, he scored two of the U.S.'s three goals against Mexico in their Concacaf Nations League semifinal. The team then beat Canada to win the championship.
